The clock beats seconds into hours
Dripping slowly across my lips
Your caress is a venom that binds me
In the melody of your hips.
The induldgence of your nectar
Is a sin I must commit,
Laced with black and a mind filled with love games,
You're a secret I'll never admit.
Repetition entrances your backbone,
As it curves to the sweetest of songs.
We revive one another through science,
Because living is where we belong.
Open up to the elegant sunrise,
Feast the fruit that it bears on our skin.
I'm a sucker for you in the morning
Loving you's the best way to begin.

Going Away Party
Lights glare as I step into the yard
Everybody's smiling at me
So proud of what's to come.
With a cold one in my fist,
I return the warm gesture,
From eye to eye,
'Til all have been satisfied.
Sweet greetings of embrace,
Kisses on the cheek,
Joking about the past,
Pondering on the future.
This is all a distant humming in my ears,
For all I can imagine is your gentle whisper.
You haunt me, like the ghost of christmas past.
Your stare pierces through my sights
Like the brightest of stars.
Your touch soothes my aching wounds
And keeps me young and joyful,
Happy to be alive so that I can know you.
You are a rose.
Your distance is your thorns.
Everybody's smiling at me
So proud of what's to come.
With a cold one in my fist,
I return the warm gesture,
From eye to eye,
'Til all have been satisfied.
Sweet greetings of embrace,

Your Rhythm
Your rhythm just keeps pounding on my thoughts,
And making me sing songs that I would not.
Dancing like a madman in the streets
This feeling's far too great to make discrete.
The sun reflects your smile into my eyes.
I wish I'd go blind so I could recognize
Your image as the last thing that I saw
I don't think that would be too bad at all.
Let's fly away to distant lands and see
How separated civilization can be.
Let's catch the vastest sunset in the sky
And wonder why beauty can make us cry.
If you'd give this a chance I'd do it all.
I'd make sure no one could ever make you fall
As hard as me, I'd steal your heart away,
And keep it safe so I could make you stay.
This beat just won't get out of my head
You're jamming in my brain while I lay in bed
It's funny how your movements bring me peace
I hope I'm next to you when I decease
And making me sing songs that I would not.
Dancing like a madman in the streets
This feeling's far too great to make discrete.
The sun reflects your smile into my eyes.

Wedding
I know you're going to be at my wedding someday. The question is where will you be?
Who will you be?
Maybe you'll be standing at the altar next to me, trembling with anxiety and bliss, with perhaps a tear or two in your eyes. Or maybe in the front row, wondering what it could have been like to be that girl.
I hope wherever and whoever you are, it's because that's the right thing for you to be for me, and me for you.

Please
You don't know what a pleasure it is to please you.
On my knees I stay and lay you onto eager sheets.
My temperature rises to irresistible levels.
Your legs tremble as I start my favorite game
Breathing hot and heavily onto your silky skin
Running the slightest of fingers down your thighs.
Eyes closed softly and grinning quietly
This is what I wait for every night.
I watch you arch your back in anticipation
For my tongue to grant your private wishes
Kisses turn to licks, and I've only just begun.
Slowly first, and oh so tenderly,
You open up with twisted relief.
Spread wide before my eyes, in total ecstasy.
My hands caress while my mouth indulges
I feel you burning up between my lips
Your breath deepens, and so do I.
I've got you in my trance.
Your feet wrap around my back and squeeze,
While I penetrate and demonstrate
Exactly what it is you desire most.
Faster now, and more wildly.
I feel the animal inside me.
You surely feel it inside of you,
I am, of course, right there between your legs.
Your moaning translates as begging for more,
So more I give, until you're at the point
Of no return.
Your body twists and turns as I take command
Of your lovely vessel.
Your toes curl as you cry out in pure pleasure.
This feeling of gratitude cannot be measured.
Thanks again, and you're welcome.

A Girl
I know a girl who could rule the world
But she'd rather make breakfast instead
She's way to humble to conquer us all
Yet she's always a few steps ahead
Of the crowds she could sway
In an elegant way
She can leave any man in a trance
Oh how lucky I am
To be her man
What an unlikely romance
I'm a walking disaster
My heart beats faster
When she takes a step in the room
If my ribcage can't hold
I just might explode
And fall victim to a messy doom
It's a good thing she knows
Kissing like eskimos
Is the one thing that calms my nerves
I know a girl who could rule the world
And the world is what she deserves.
But she'd rather make breakfast instead
She's way to humble to conquer us all
Yet she's always a few steps ahead

Goodbye (For Now)
I want you so badly
I hurts to say
"goodbye love
Take care now,
And don't go getting
Your heart torn up
By some dumb fuck
Who doesn't even know
How to make you smile
The way I used to"
Who knew...
It would be this hard.
Not me.
No, not me.
The stars line the sky tonight
And I would die to have you by my side
I'm falling into little pieces, why?
I'm locked outside, and you're not coming by.
It's five now
And I'm convinced
That I will never sleep again
'Cause the dreams
I have of you just
Tear straight through
The stitches, and eat my heart
Like it's a goddamned meal
I can't reveal my pain now
'Cause then you'll know how weak
I really am for you
The stars line the sky tonight
And I would die to have you by my side
I'm falling into little pieces, why?
I'm locked outside, and you're not coming by.
I want to think that fate is on my side
But there's no telling where our future lies
I wish that I could conquer over time
And win you back so you could end up mine.
The stars line the sky tonight
And I would die to have you by my side
I'm falling into little pieces, why?
I'm locked outside, and you're not coming by.
I hurts to say

Midnight
Silence is vital on this little adventure
One foot, then the other, ever so slowly.
Then the breeze catches you off guard
And makes your hair stand on end.
Was it the wind? Or was it the rush?
Either way I'm happy 'cause you're here
Off we go, and leave our troubles at the window
Radio playing our favorite track
Now we know there's no going back
I can't stop smiling and you ask me why
Maybe it's you or the starry sky
The former's the truth but why make it so easy?
I've got to keep the mystery, to keep you intrigued
Believe me, I'd love to spill my heart out
But the mess would be too much to wipe away
You stay on my mind, even when you're at my side
A minute without your touch is far too much
My cheeks are fluorescent thanks to your kiss
This bliss makes me feel like a kid again.
Let's escape tonight.
One foot, then the other, ever so slowly.
Then the breeze catches you off guard
And makes your hair stand on end.

Day at the Beach
If we could just get off the ground
We'd catch the ship in time
But why not give it a shot?
"I'll race you to the end!"
The golden sun cascades against the waves
Which crash on the shore so gently,
Like your lips on mine.
fingers tied in a knot
that I'd hate to unfurl
We lie there watching strangers
Look at us like we're the thing to see
Who needs the ocean when you've got us?
Here comes the rain,
To drench our hearts
In the richest of showers
We lied there for hours
But days could have passed
And I think we would have stayed.
What a beautiful day
With a beautiful girl.
Lucky I didn't have to go fishing
To get a catch like you.
We'd catch the ship in time
But why not give it a shot?

Visiting
With winter winds pushing you faster
You're headed north for the weekend.
It's only just another hundred
Miles before you're at my door.
I'll hit the floor when you knock me over
But it won't hurt a single bit
'Cause clouds surround when you're around
And make the ground a distant thought
We ought to go outside,
But we just stay in bed instead
Fingers dancing on your skin
This type of thing should be a sin
Laughing at each other, even though
We haven't said a word
It's absurd how much you give me peace
Let's stay forever, like kitchen utensils
Under the covers with my lovely lover.

Back For More
Now I know why they call it making love
Since you've gone, you're the only thing I'm thinking of
I'm sick to my stomach and I'm loving every second of it
This delirious delight ignites my flame and scorches my inhibitions
You're running circles in my head and swimming through my veins
I've never in my life felt so insane.
Quiet desperation slowly creeps into my spine
Tingling and mingling with the doubts I've come to ignore
I pray that you never grow tired of my touch, my taste, this face
Is only smiling when I know you're coming back for more.

Quirky/Doomed Relationship

Pursuit of Happiness
Happiness is a brief moment that all humans strive for on a day to day basis. If it was anything more than a moment, it would no longer serve its purpose of offsetting the negativity we face every day. So I'm glad that happiness only exists in tiny increments. That way it's really worth fighting for.
